The Sew Space are our open studio sessions where you can work on your own projects in an inspiring environment, with guidance available if you get stuck.

Please note: if you have no prior sewing experience, we recommend taking a beginner’s course first.

After signing up, you’ll get access within 24 hours to the booking system, where you can schedule your sessions.
Our standard lessons are on Tuesday 7–10 PM, Friday 10 AM–1 PM and Saturday 2–5 PM. During busier periods, we add extra sessions.

Our studio is located in the center of Utrecht: Donkerstraat 10.

Yes, members (except Online Only Free & Online Only) can book additional sessions in the studio, subject to availability.
The price of an extra session depends on your membership type.
Extra sessions can only be booked in the studio.

Sew Space is open at set times:

✂️ Tuesday evening 7–10 PM
🪡 Friday morning 10 AM–1 PM
💜 Saturday afternoon 2–5 PM

You choose which sessions to book. During busy periods, we add extra sessions.

No, you’re not tied to a fixed day.

Each month, you can flexibly schedule your sessions through the booking system, as long as spots are available.

For example, one week you could come on Tuesday evening, and the next week on Saturday.

You can cancel your Sew Space session free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts via the booking system.

Cancel more than 24 hours in advance? You can reschedule your session.

Cancel within 24 hours? The session will be forfeited.

We have plenty of sewing machines available in the studio that you can use: we work with the Pfaff Smarter 160S.
Overlock and coverstitch machines are also available.
Of course, you’re always welcome to bring your own sewing machine if you prefer.

Unfortunately, unused Sew Space sessions cannot be carried over.
Sew Space sessions are valid for 1 month only.
